We would recommend that you start planning from the moment you put your property on the market. Begin by clearing out as many unwanted items as possible, as this will make your move easier and cheaper, and there is no better time for a clearout. Of course, this is one of the many qualities Cheerful Removals takes pride in. Each and every one of your items will be placed precisely where you would like them. Our staff will do everything necessary to make sure your move is cheerful door to door.
Yes, we can supply all packaging and materials, whether just cardboard moving boxes for storage or full moving kits. We deliver as and when you need and all our removal boxes and supplies are brand new, fresh and clean.
We have a full insurance option which you can opt into, or for a more budget move we can accept limited liability.
Quotations are arrived upon through taking an accurate list of items to be moved, called an inventory, then using software to calculator the total cubic feet. This number will tell us how many vehicles and staff we would require, and how long we expect the work to last. We then add fuel expenses (45p per mile per vehicle) which gives us our final quote.
If the travel time is 5 hours or less, we will endeavour to deliver all items on the same day. We will then stay over in the area and travel back the following day, which will be reflected in the fee. If it is not possible to deliver items on the first day of the removal, we will load the vehicles, drive to the area of your new home, spend the night and then commence delivery the following morning
You do not need to be present throughout the removal. As long as we have access to both properties we are happy to continue work on our own.
